It’s a scary time for any corporation’s PR dept. With the multiple ways that people receive information coupled with the growing popularity of social networks, there’s less control over a what image you put out there. Good news travels fast, but bad news always travels faster.
Case in point, it seems a Mr.Kim in Korea wasn’t exactly thrilled with his service provider SK Telecom and decided to return their phone. With the mobile market being as competitive as it is in Korea, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not this affects SKT’s future business. It’ll be even more interesting to see whether they’ll still replace Mr. Kim’s defective phone.

The first Days at Haas for the incoming MBA Class of ‘09 will be held this Friday. Gosh, time flies doesn’t it?
Ah, spring. The courtship between business schools and potential business students start all over again. DAH is very similar to a blind date I guess in many aspects.. er .. except you’re on that date with about 100 other people.
The clubs will be having a fair outside during lunch this Friday, and it’ll be a great opportunity for the admits to have a taste of what their lives will be like during a Haas MBA. Already, some clubs are pulling out all the stops I hear. The HCF will be having a chocolate fountain (so I might spend most of my time there), probably the Consulting Club will be giving out their Frequent Flier miles, and I guess the Investment Banking club will be giving out flaming $100 bills to light their cigars (well, that’s my impression of what the club does regularly.)
But we all know at the end of the day, if you want a job in tech, you’ll be joining the HTC.
However, I do hope the admits have a great time, because this really is a great school.
I just hope the NorCal Gods of Weather are in a good mood this Friday.
